Drunken lobster is where you can bring your family here to enjoy live band every Friday night. The ambiance is nice and always so decorative. Went during lunar new year and they had the cute red and white lanterns. The staff are so nice and attentive. We always get our bone marrow fried rice & steak garlic noodles, pair it with a mango Ada and you're good for the night!!! Must get fresh oyster special $1 each!! They were so fresh and sweet! I also got their grilled squid & razor clams! They were so flavorful!! It's a must try!!!

Popped in here for a quick impromptu lunch on a Saturday afternoon because of Yelp reviews checked in the parking lot and intriguing name with my finicky 13 year old granddaughter. Very friendly service as soon as we entered, they knew we were first timers in this Asiatown strip center restaurant. Comfortable and adequate dining area with live shellfish tank (typical for the area). I always like to try lots of things when on a food adventure and he warned me it was a lot of food, but planned on taking doggie bags home to my wife. He was very helpful in walking us through the menu. Loved the Tamarind Soft Shell Crab, flavorful and perfectly fried. Egg Rolls were fine but ordinary........of course a big hit for my finicky 13 year old! Convinced her to try the crab, which she eventually did and liked it. Shrimp and Garlic Noodles...........she couldn't get enough of the noodles (no surprise), they were indeed flavorful and cooked al dente. Shrimp were large prawns that were grilled, could've been better seasoned. Their namesake dish Drunken Lobster with Garlic Noodles was a more exotic and upgraded garlic noodle from the shrimp dish with an assortment of scallions, onion and jalapeño. Needless to say my wife was impressed with the leftovers! The finicky 13 year old loved the noodles. When I'm back in the area, I would definitely put this dive into the rotation.

The service was phenomenal. Very friendly from the time I walked into the restaurant to the time I left. The food was beyond belief amazing. The garlic noodles were so delicious and the steak was so tender. The soft-shell crab was amazing and had some of the best flavor. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming. It gave a real family friendly atmosphere.

We came here for my mom's birthday on a Saturday afternoon and was seated immediately! The good prices were okay for Vietnamese seafood. My favorite fish was the soft shell crab tamarind flavor (not pictured). We ordered grilled oysters, soft shell crab, snails, razor clams, and the drunken lobster special. The lobster noodles were actually really good! The lobster was cooked perfectly. The noodles were FULL of savory flavors. The restaurant was a small cute Vietnamese type of restaurant. Restrooms were clean!

Drunken Lobster is one of my favorite spots for seafood and garlic noodles. You really just can't beat the garlic noodles here as well as their many other dishes. I've been coming here since opening, and they have always been super consistent with the flavors and the dishes. I've eaten both in person and ordered to-go, and both have been good. The service has always been amazing, and the restaurant is always super clean. My absolute favorite is the Steak Garlic Noodles, which are cooked to perfection every time. The Shrimp Garlic Noodles are also just as perfect. There is also the option to get the Surf and Turf, which is both Steak and Shrimp Garlic Noodles in one. The Lobster Garlic Noodles are also perfect, but I don't order this too often due to the price. The Sizzling Scallops are so flavorful, and the truffle fries are always just right. I've also had the Godly Fried Rice, which is a flavor bomb, and the Salted Egg Shrimps are just as tasty. One thing you absolutely can't skip is their sugar cane juice. I honestly think they have the best sugar cane juice out of all the sugar cane places I've tried. Too bad you can only order it by the cup, otherwise I would get a ton. I've also had some of their limited-time only specials, and they were all super amazing as well. I always look forward to coming back here for more.

Amazing food and service. The favors are bold and unique. I love it! The tab can run pretty high, but keep in mind that it's fresh seafood. For about seven hungry adults, I recommend the following served family style (share everything): - Fried Rice - Garlic Noodles (Shrimp and Beef each) - Squid (more than one order) - Sizzling Clams (more than one order) - Lemon grass clam soup - Seafood Fondue - Soft Shell Crab (more than one order) - Snail Everyone at our table enjoyed it and had a great time. My favorites were the clams, fried rice, noodles, and seafood fondue. Service was fantastic. Owner was very friendly and accommodating to our birthday celebration. Waitress was always there to help. If you never tried this place, come give it a shot! I think they have live music every night (as of May 2024).
